A survey published by the World Economic Forum revealed that Google is the most popular site in the world, ranking first in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East and parts of Africa and Asia.
Both YouTube and Facebook came in second and third. China’s Baidu finished fourth. According to the website, China has the largest number of Internet users in the world, an estimated 7 million from December.
And the site of Wikipedia and Yahoo in fifth and sixth place, while the Indian version of Google in seventh place.
The social news site “Reddit” came in eighth place. Most of its users are from the United States, and are popular with Britons, Canadians, Australians and Germans. China’s instant messaging site QQ ranked ninth and Taobao, China’s e-shopping site, ranked 10th.
